What is Head Spa?

Head Spa is a luxurious, multi-step scalp and hair treatment that originated in Japan.  It is designed to deeply cleanse, detoxify, and rejuvenate the scalp while promoting relaxation and overall well-being.  It combines elements of traditional scalp care, aromatherapy, and advanced scalp treatments to improve both scalp health and hair quality.  The experience is often described as a fusion of a facial for the scalp and a soothing massage, making it a highly sought-after treatment.​

What products do we use for Head Spa?

We use Milbon products for all of our Head Spa services. The signature Scalp Collection is used for the 30 or 60 minute session.  "Dry or oily, itchy or flaky — Milbon’s global research exposed the single root cause for all these undesirable conditions: excess fatty acids on the scalp.
Designed to be used in our relaxing Head Spa service at a salon, this professional massage gel deeply exfoliates residual fatty acids clogging the follicles, offering an instant relief from these scalp issues. Infused with a selection of pleasant aromatherapy scents (citrus, rose, and vanilla) to soothe one’s senses."  This is a 4-step process that starts with a purifying cleanse,

The 5-step Enhancing Vivacity Collection is used for the 60 minute session. This collection is typically utilized for clients with thinning and/or hair loss due to any reason, including, but not limited to:  hormonal changes due to medical conditions like a thyroid condition,  pregnancy/post pregnancy, and post chemotherapy treatments.

From the moment I walked in the door until the moment I left I felt of importance and cared after.   I received the head spa treatment and a silk press all done by the new stylist, Melissa aka MD.  The head spa was out of this world! The technology to display my scalp before and after magnetized was insane.  Melissa took her time to truly treat what needed to be treated and come up with a plan to continue positive scalp and hair health.  The silk press was just as I visioned with nice curls to last.  The service and treatment provided by MD was a 10/10.  Salon Aesthetic 10/10.  Coffee and Biscotti by Minnie 10/10.  Looking forward to my next time around and already making referrals.!"

CANCELLATION & LATE POLICY

To ensure we are valuing our Stylist’s time and providing optimal service to all clients, we kindly request that you provide us with a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellations. When booking a service with Hair N’Abstract, a credit card on file is required, to secure your booking.  *For cancellations within a 48 hour window of your appointment, a fee of 50% of the scheduled service price will be charged to your card on file.  For a, “no call, no show,” 100% of the scheduled services will be charged to your card on file.  Please understand that if you cancel last minute or “no show” for a booking, our Stylists are unable to schedule other clients to replace your booking. We recommend that you contact us in advance if your plans change to avoid unnecessary charges.  *15 minutes is considered a missed appointment and will result in a fee of 100% of your scheduled service.  Please understand that if you are late, this backs up every booking and this is to ensure client service consistency.
