SENIOR STYLISTS and BARBERS (Hiring for Multiple Positions):
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located on West Main Street in Lansdale, PA for a Senior Hairstylists and Barbers at Hair N' Abstract by Christopher.
The Senior Hairstylist will be responsible for cutting, coloring, and styling hair for clients. Extensions, Bridal, HeadSpa knowledge is a plus, but not required. The Senior Hairstylist will also consult with clients to determine their hair care needs and offer recommendations on hair care products and treatments. Customer service, continually building your book and maintaining the salon is required.
The Barber will be responsible for consulting, cutting, styling hair, utilizing clippers and scissors as well as beard grooming to the client's requests. Barbers will also consult with clients to determine their hair care needs and offer recommendations on hair care products and treatments. Book preferred. Opportunities to learn color, more cutting techniques and HeadSpa available.
There will be future opportunities to teach and/or participate in continuing education classes depending on the scope of your experience.
Qualifications

Valid cosmetology license

Strong knowledge of hair cutting, coloring, and styling application techniques

Strong customer service and a passion for building the client/stylist relationship

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Must have flexible availability

Previous experience as a Hairstylist required, 5 - 10+ years; Barbers, 3 - 5+ years

Client book preferred, strong work ethic and passion for continuing education

Knowledge of Square, social media, MAC-OS, POS system, best client retention practices
