BTSB - Behind The Scenes Benefits - For Stylists, by Stylists!
How does the fund work?

What is BTSB?
This fund is to help 4 local Stylists, selected at random, get much needed health/vision/dental benefits for one year. More common than not, salons are not able to offer benefits to their Stylists. This is a very important issue and hits home with us. We were sitting around the salon one day and thought.... why not fundraise to help other local Stylists who have the same issue?

Who can benefit from this fundraiser?
CALLING ALL STYLISTS! We need Stylists to appy to be a recipient of the BTSB fund. All Stylists, Barbers and salon professionals can apply for the benefit below in the next section. Tell us a little bit about yourself and why you are applying. 4 Stylists will be selected at random and after the funds have been raised, a yearly allotment of funds will go directly towards their healthcare through an independent broker that we work with.

Tim Taylor, Independent Broker
Tim Taylor has been a godsend to us! He is a barbershop owner and an independent broker out of Washington state and works specifically with salon professionals to get them the benefits they need. He is able to tailor individual policies depending on your needs and budget.

Ways to Get Invovled and Help!
Please donate at the link below! If you cannot donate, spread the word and share our event flyer! Every little bit counts! While this is just one Stylist at a time, we are hoping to make a difference in the local community, even if it is one year at a time. Because of the nature of the beauty industry, it is a little known fact that health insurance is often unobtainable to Stylists. Whether it is too expensive for an individual on the Marketplace or too expensive for salons to offer to their Stylists, Behind The Scenes Benefits was created for those in the cosmetology industry in need of health insurance.
Any Montgomery County Stylist may apply to receive this fund. Our aim is to raise enough money to help at least 4 Stylists enroll in a full year's worth of benefits. We have partnered with an independent broker to supply a more affordable, customized policy to each of the beneficiaries where funds will be allocated directly. Stylists, apply to be a fund recipient!
